Home Clinical Trial Visit
Omega Research carries its 25 years of experience in clinical research from research centers to volunteers’ homes with its “Home Clinical Research” services.
Clinical research, which plays an important role in the development of health services and increasing the quality of patient care, requires a disciplinary team work from planning to conducting, from conclusion to reporting.
Evaluation of vital signs at home, application of necessary questionnaires, blood/urine collection, delivery of research product to volunteers, drug counting, detection and reporting of adverse events, sending the sample from home to the central laboratory services are performed by experienced nurses or, if necessary, physicians.

Determination of Necessary Needs
According to the research protocol, planning and budgeting are made to procure the necessary manpower, consumables and equipment for home health services.
Determination of the Home Clinical Research Team
A country coordinator is determined for each clinical trial. Depending on the size of the research, a management team consisting of physicians or experienced nurses is formed in order to manage the nurse team.
In accordance with the research protocol, a team consisting of nurses and, if necessary, physicians is established according to the cities.

Completion of Team Training
Necessary training is given to the research team according to the services to be performed at home.
Trainings are completed and documented on subjects such as research protocol, sampling, use of necessary devices (ECG, etc.), drug delivery, sample preparation and delivery, side effects follow-up, and patient confidentiality.
Assignment of the team
After the training of the team is completed, the necessary documents regarding the assignment of nurses and physicians are obtained from each study center. Necessary assignments are reported to the ethics committee and TİTCK.

Supply of Necessary Equipment and Consumables
Necessary consumables and/or equipment are provided within the scope of the research protocol.
Among them; blood and sampling materials, thermometer, blood pressure measuring device, EKG device, centrifuge, personal protective equipment.
Performing Home Visits
Home visits are carried out in accordance with the protocol, also at a time convenient for the research volunteer (day-evening or weekend).
The vital signs of the volunteer are taken, the necessary forms and questionnaires are filled, the drugs taken from the center are delivered to the volunteer and the courier is called for sample transfer, if any.

Making Necessary Reports
Within the scope of the research protocol, the necessary home visit forms, laboratory and submission forms are filled and delivered to the research center/SAK first in electronic form and then in hard copy.
